The risk of having an outdoor wedding is the unpredictability of the weather here in Nebraska. Gardens on Q does not offer any refunds for a wedding that is cancelled because of the weather. We do, however, have a 40ft x 60ft building that we can quickly convert into a functional location for a ceremony. It is not ideal, but will work to keep guests safe and dry in an emergency. The shop has a metal roof, so it is loud inside the building when it is raining or hailing. Another option if it appears that there may be rain on the day of your event is renting a party tent to give your guests a dry place for the reception. Absolutely. Gardens on Q has a quaint, unique bar area that can be used during events. Your alcohol provider is required to be licensed to serve alcohol in the state of NE. There is a list of alcohol providers on our website.
We now have full, established restrooms on-site for guests! They are cute and rustic, and will help your guests feel at-home and comfortable while they’re at your event.
Gardens on Q requires a $500 security deposit that will be returned to the responsible party within 30 days of your event, provided that all the terms of the contract have been met. This includes no damage or destruction to any of the grounds or property at Gardens on Q. The house and property must be left as they are found upon arrival. In addition, any quests that remain on the property after the time specified in the contract are charged a rate of $100/hour, which is deducted from the security deposit. Please read the contract for specific details concerning these requirements.
